A Not-So-Secret Plan to Find Santa

Mrs. Claus Goes to the Media

[A Not-So-Secret Plan to Find Santa ]

As everyone at the North Pole knows, when Mrs. Claus sets her mind to do something, it gets done! The TV reporter, however, was not from the North Pole, but he was beginning to discover the same thing that the Elves already knew: don't try and tell Mrs. Claus 'no.'

"You want me to report about a new dessert called 'strawberry and mustard surprise?;" he asked Mrs. Claus. "Which restaurant makes that?"

"None do--at least not yet," said Mrs. Claus, sweetly. "But I'm sure I'll find one."

"And then when I report this story," he continued, "you expect Santa to come to the restaurant to eat it?"

"Well, he'll look like Santa," said Ali Elf.

"But it will actually be an elf named Bilbo?" the reporter asked.

"Waldo," corrected Mrs. Claus.

[by Elvin Elf] "And then you'll take him back to the North Pole," finished the reporter.

"That's correct," said Mrs. Claus.

The reporter laughed. "Why doesn't he just fly back on his sleigh?"

"Don't be silly!" said Ali. "The reindeer games are going on!"

"Why should I do this?" asked the reporter.

Mrs. Claus smiled her sweetest smile. "Because you've been on the 'nice' list every day for decades. It would be a shame if you ended up on the 'naughty' list this year."

The reporter gulped nervously. "Umm...I think I'll get a camera operator. We're going to report on the newest dessert to hit the City--strawberry and mustard pudding!

Will Mrs. Claus' plan work? keep reading The North Pole Times" to find out!
