Santa Explains the Four Gospels to the Elves

On the fourth day of Christmas, Santa called the elves together to announce the next special gift. “On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, four calling birds!”

Suddenly, four beautiful birds appeared in the sky, their voices ringing out in unison. “Caw! Caw! Caw! Caw!”

The elves gathered around, listening to their cheerful song. Santa smiled and explained, “These calling birds represent the four Gospels of the Bible—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.”

“The Gospels tell the story of Jesus Christ’s life, teachings, death, and resurrection,” Santa continued. “Each one shares the good news, but each is written from a unique perspective. Just like these birds, each Gospel calls us to listen and follow the message of hope and salvation.”

The elves looked at the birds, feeling the importance of their song. “The four Gospels are our guide,” Santa said, “helping us understand God’s love for us and how we can share that love with others.”

As the calling birds flew off into the sky, the elves promised to keep the message of the Gospels in their hearts, sharing the good news of Christmas with joy and kindness.
