[Christmas comes early this year]

Christmas comes early this year

This mission will have three stages

While the other elves slept in their comfy beds, Toby spent the whole night by the fireplace, trapped in the iceberg. Finally, in the morning, when the first rays of the sun shone through the window, all the ice melted. Toby woke his friends, eager to tell them the news.

"Since I've been in that iceberg for, let's say, an eternity," Toby said, pacing around, "I've had plenty of time to come up with the perfect plan."

"A plan for what?" Waldo scratched his head.

"To catch Chris Mouse, duh," Toby rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, right."

"So this mission will have three stages," Toby explained to the elves gathered around the blackboard. "First, we're going to make fake news where we're going to write that Christmas comes early this year. Then, we'll send Chris Mouse an invitation to the Christmas party. And when Chris Mouse and his family gather around the Christmas tree, the third stage begins."

"That sounds amazing," the elves agreed.

"The third stage is called The Christmas Surprise!" Toby exclaimed.

Wow!

All the elves clapped in delight. Ready to begin the mission, they hurried to the door. Watching them stumbling and jumping over each other, Toby yelled, "Wait! Did you forget something?"

"Well, I forgot to have breakfast," Waldo said, rubbing his tummy.

"Argh," Toby sighed. "Not that, you silly. Won't you hear what the third stage is?"

Oh, right.

The elves came back to hear the rest of Toby's plan.

"When Chris Mouse and his family gather around the Christmas tree, they will find a Christmas present. And when they open it, instead of a toy, they get the biggest surprise ever!"

Yay!

Will the Christmas Surprise mission go as planned? Find out tomorrow, ONLY on the North Pole Times.
