After a wild escapade through the village, Super Secret Jack Spinner the Specialized Sleuth and his Mighty Sidekick, Zachery the Kosmic Kid decipher the secret code QJZAN PDA XAHH with the secret key being A=E found in last week’s story.
It reads “Under the Bell” Jack screamed as the Mighty Duo dashed towards the grand town bell in the village square. The bell, which usually rings with holiday cheer, stands silent as the townsfolk scowl and grumble. Jack’s eyes gleam with determination. “This is it! The next clue must be here!”
Zachery, ever the sensible one, suggests, “Maybe we should check under the bell?” But Jack, ever the dramatist, declares, “No way, kid! It’s a trap! Let’s investigate the bakery instead!” With a flourish, he leads the way, nearly tripping over his own feet!
Once inside the bakery, KERPLUNK! Jack accidentally knocks over a mountain of flour bags! KABAM! Flour clouds fill the air, turning the bakery into a winter wonderland. “Uh, Mr. Baker, have you seen a magical star?” Jack asks, his face buried in dough.
The baker, covered in white, chuckles, “I’m no star expert, but you two sure are a mess!” Jack tries to look serious but ends up sneezing, sending flour everywhere! The townsfolk outside peek in, bewildered at the chaos.
Finally remembering their mission, they race back to the bell, where they discover a hidden compartment. Inside, a new cipher clue reads: “The SUPER SECRET KEY is: A=J. The SECRET CODE is: EVRI KYV WFLEKRZE.” Jack beams, “I knew it! I knew that would be next!”
But just as they turn to leave, they spot the shadowy figure again, clutching a large sack and darting away!
What’s in the mysterious sack? What does the Secret Code say? Will Zachery ever convince Jack to listen?
Check back next week. Same Super Secret Time. Same Super Secret Place!
