Dear Boys and Girls--and Grownups, Elves, and Anyone Else Who Might Be Reading:
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas to one and all! I'm back at the North Pole again after spending the night zooming all over the world, delivering packages to all the boys and girls on my 'Nice' list--and believe me, there were a lot of boys and girls on that list!
The weather last night wasn't all that bad--not compared to some of the Christmases I've had in the past. There was some snowy places around the Great Lakes in the United States that were a little worrisome, but my reindeer know how to handle that sort of weather!
Are you having a good Christmas? Have you gotten what you wanted? And if it wasn't exactly what you wanted, I'll bet it's still pretty cool! I've found that sometimes the best presents aren't the ones I've wished for, but the ones I didn't expect. And the best presents of all, are the ones given with love.
What sort of Christmas traditions go on at your house? Do you have family and friends over? Do you go to someone else's house? We have a party in the Great Hall with all the Elves, and then Mrs. Claus and I have a little quiet meal together in front of the fireplace, and that's when we exchange our gifts. It's something I look forward to almost as much as I do the flight on Christmas Eve!
The party's just about to start, so I'll end this now. Pretty soon we're going to start all over again getting ready for next year's Christmas, but for now I'm just going to relax and have fun, and I hope you do the same!
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Love,
Santa

On the ninth day of Christmas, Santa and the elves discover the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit, symbolized by ladies dancing, teaching love, joy, and kindness.
On the eighth day of Christmas, Santa and the elves discover the Eight Beatitudes, symbolized by maids milking reindeer, teaching humility, kindness, and love.
