Santa Shares the Symbolism of the Two Turtle Doves

On the second day of Christmas, Santa called out to the elves, “On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, two turtle doves!”

As the elves gathered around, two beautiful turtle doves flew down, landing gently on the branches of a snow-covered tree.

“Do you know what these doves represent?” Santa asked, smiling. “In the Christmas carol, the two turtle doves symbolize the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.”

Santa explained, “The Old Testament tells of God’s promises, and the New Testament reveals the gift of Jesus Christ, the Savior, bringing peace to the world.”

The elves listened carefully, understanding how the doves also symbolize peace and truth. Santa continued, “Just as the doves bring peace to our hearts, we are called to live by the truth of God’s Word, sharing love and kindness with everyone around us.”

The elves, inspired by the doves, promised to carry these lessons with them, spreading peace and truth wherever they went during the Christmas season and beyond.
