Welcome back to the Reindeer Games! Yesterday, the Figure Skating competition began, but there was a bit of a twist — the Official Elves, who usually judge the events, were needed in the workshop to help make toys for Christmas. Without the elves to judge, many thought the event might have to be canceled.
However, with the reindeer needing the exercise to stay in top form for Christmas Eve, Rudolph stepped in to judge, and so the games continued!
Meanwhile, Santa continues his journey through space with Waldo, while Gizmo works hard to assemble the rescue rocket. It’s a busy time at the North Pole, and the Reindeer Games are no exception.
Today, the Great Eight reindeer moved into the second round of the Figure Skating competition — the “short program.”
Each reindeer must complete four moves within one minute, and Rudolph is ready to judge their skills and keep the tally.
The Hoojamawazit Skating and Ice Cream Palace was packed with excited fans, even though the elves were busy in the workshop preparing for Christmas.

First up is Vixen. The crowd eagerly waits to see what she’ll do. Vixen completes a double backflip, a whirly bird, a lightning-fast spin, and a perfectly executed Button-maker maneuver. Wow, that was fantastic!
Next, Prancer takes the ice. With grace and skill, Prancer performs a Gene Kelly, a whirling dervish, a beagle eagle, and a beautiful sinking spiral. Incredible! The reindeer’s skating skills remain outstanding.
Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, Dasher, Dancer, and Comet also take to the ice, dazzling the crowd with their tricks as Rudolph scribbles down the scores. After a few quick pencil strokes, he’s ready with the results.
And remarkably, after two full days of skating, all eight reindeer are tied for first place! That’s amazing! This means tomorrow’s final round will determine who takes home the fifth gold medal of the games.
Check back to see who wins!
