Dear readers, you can’t even imagine the joy in Santa’s village when Waldo announced the Great North Pole Christmas Party!
The elves were singing and dancing, the reindeer were flying in circles jingling the bells, the drummers were drumming, the pipers were piping! Buddy Elf was playing the trumpet, and baby Yeti was clapping her paws happier than ever!
The Christmas tree, red like strawberry and mustard pudding, was the most spectacular one Santa’s village had ever had!
Santa’s sleigh was still empty, but thanks to Gizmo’s newest invention Buddy Elf and his group of ex-bullies finished it in a blink of an eye!
Our dear Gizmo made a slide on the top of the workshop! Sliding down the roof, the elves were flying through the air onto the trampoline, throwing the gifts into Santa’s sleigh. If any presents (or elves!) missed the way, Rudolph was there to catch them with his horns.
The tears were pouring down Waldo’s cheeks, but these were tears of joy.
Finally, it was time for Waldo to give presents to his most special friends. As you remember, Waldo learned some crafts at the crevasse, so he made the presents himself!
For baby Yeti, Waldo made a reindeer toy! It had one ear missing and one leg a bit shorter, but the baby loved it! For Mummy Yeti, Waldo knitted a soft blanket to tuck her baby in. Well, it was in the shape of a triangle, but it was cozy. And finally, Mikee... For Mikee, Waldo made a hat to keep her warm if she ever wandered after him in the wilderness again. As you can probably guess, it was red like strawberry and mustard pudding!
Maybe Waldo’s handmade gifts weren’t perfect, but they were surely made with love, and that’s what counts!
When all the presents were packed, and the reindeer were about to leave, Waldo thanked Buddy Elf for his great work.
“Thank you, Waldo! You’re a star!” said Buddy Elf.
“Wait! The star!” yelled Waldo when he saw his perfect red tree was missing the star on the top.
Waldo and Mikee ran to climb the Christmas tree, holding the star, but Yeti jumped to lift them both. While Yeti was holding Mikee and Waldo in one paw, nobody noticed she had the mistletoe in the other!
When Mikee and Waldo put the star together on the top of the Christmas tree, Yeti held the mistletoe over them, creating the perfect atmosphere for a kiss!!!
The magic of the kiss caused the tree to glow so bright red that it could be seen from the International Space Station! The love of Christmas filled the air. The star lit the whole North Pole and the sky above, showing the way to Santa’s sleigh and spreading the magic of Christmas around the world!
With that, dear readers, Santa leaped into his sleigh to begin his Christmas journey. "Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet ! On, Cupid! On, Donder and Blitzen... Rudolph?” “Ready, Santa!” he replied. “GO!” Santa shouted!
Like a bolt of lightning, Santa and his magical team of reindeer rocketed into the night sky leaving a magical trail behind them. He's now on his way to your home, so be sure to have your Christmas stocking prepared and, more importantly, get to bed on time.
Don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see how his magical journey turned out in our final story of the season. Right here, ONLY on the North Pole Times! #1 in Santa's News! Trusted Worldwide!
