Fresh from a fantastic Thanksgiving Parade, Santa was mysteriously launched into space! This surprising event happened early Thanksgiving Day, just after Mrs. Claus served her famous Thanksgiving Dinner.
“He was just taking a walk to make room for dessert,” a worried Mrs. Claus told the North Pole Times. “He said there was something he wanted to check on, and then suddenly—FAZOOM!” She dabbed a tear away with the corner of her apron and added, “Does anyone want some pie? Without Santa here, it’s just going to go to waste!”
A Loud Surprise!
“We heard the explosion all the way over in the Toy Counting room,” reported Adamup Elf, Chief Toy-counting Elf. “It was frighteningly loud for seven seconds, extremely loud for 13 seconds, very loud for nine, loud for 11, and then a dwindling rumble for one minute and three seconds!”
Jiller Elf, who was busy in the Doll Making department when the noise happened, said, “At first, we thought there was a terrible explosion. I ran outside and saw a red-and-white spaceship launching into the sky. I rushed into the broadcast room and heard Santa’s voice on the radio. A lot of it was static, but I did catch him saying ‘Ho Ho Hoooooonooooooo!’ I can’t believe a rocket launched Santa into orbit!”
Where is Santa Going?
So, how did Santa end up in space? Whose rocket is it? Where is he going? And the biggest question of all—will he make it back in time for Christmas?
Stay tuned to the North Pole Times for updates on Santa’s space adventure and all the exciting stories throughout the Christmas season!
