The Mighty Duo Solve the Fountain Clue

Last week, Super Secret Jack Spinner the Specialized Sleuth and his Mighty Sidekick, Zachery the Kosmic Kid, cracked the mystery of their second cipher clue using their trusty Super Secret Decoder Wheel. The SUPER SECRET KEY was: A=J. The SECRET CODE was: EVRI KYV WFLEKRZE. After carefully deciphering the code, they uncovered the message: “NEAR THE FOUNTAIN.” With that, they zoomed off on their wild adventure to locate the missing Christmas star!

This week, they’ve arrived at the village fountain, hoping to find the next clue. The fountain sparkles with lights, but the townsfolk around it are as grumpy as ever, scowling like they just bit into sour candy!

“Let’s look inside the fountain!” Zachery suggests, his eyes bright with common sense. But Jack, puffing up with confidence, insists, “No way! The real action is at the ice-skating rink!” With a dramatic spin, he dashes away, nearly tripping on his own shoelaces!

At the ice rink, chaos ensues. Jack and Zachery crash a skating party, sending kids flying everywhere! KERPLUNK! One little skater goes sliding past, flailing like a windmill, while Jack slips on a stray ice skate, sending him tumbling into a pile of snow! KABAM! Snow flies through the air like confetti, and the kids burst into laughter, even though the adults continue to frown.

Finally, after the slippery slapstick scene, they regain their balance and decide it’s time to check the fountain. There, hidden under a pile of snowflakes, they discover a treasure chest! Jack squeals with excitement as they open it to find the third cipher clue: “The SUPER SECRET KEY is: A=W. The Secret Code is: FC XLI XVII.”

Just as they start to make sense of the code, they catch sight of the shadowy figure once again, this time with a mischievous grin, disappearing into a dark alley!

What’s the shadowy figure up to now? Will Zachery ever convince Jack to follow the clue? Can they solve this week’s Super Secret Code before it’s too late?
